In the new timetable, there are, in fact, three 73 services operating on Saturdays and school holidays only. The 08.00 ex Kirton but there is also the 14.42 ex Felixstowe and the 16.27 to Felixstowe. These two journeys will continue to run just for children only on school days to and from Felixstowe Academy. We've been advised by SCC that this is school transport Covid-19 related and the intention is to operate this way on a temporary basis until either half term in October or the end of the year. In these uncertain times, it's not possible to give a precise date.
It's not clear from the timetables but we can confirm that both of our buses 73 and 79 will operate via Falkenham road loop and this is certainly good news for people living in that part of our village. You may have noticed that the first bus ex Woodbridge Monday to Friday will be at 09.40 and this should increase the number of Woodbridge passengers as they will be able to use their bus passes (09.30 restriction) All helps to keep the buses running! Use it or loose it.
